Which area of the network are you making this suggestion for?
    Skyblock/can be applied to others.

What is the general essence or basic idea of your suggestion?
    To limit lag/fps drops.

Elaborate on your suggestion in detail
Have you even been tped to spawners and had your fps drop immensely? I know I have, being at your island can be a pain when you have countless spawners and it just gets in the way. How do we fix this? Easy, stop spawners from having a rotating mob. This is the main reason why players lose fps, the game loses fps when having to load in hundreds if not thousands of spinning mobs.

What are the pros and cons of implementing this suggestion?
Clear lag, improve quality of life.

Any additional details, previews, videos, screenshots or links related to your suggestion
Suggestion is easy to add and can benefit all players.

When ever I vist a friends sky base my fps goes from high 200 to 300s to low 90s
I think this would be a great feature if added and would help dramatically. But it's what the staff think and what's best at that time.

Best of luck hope it gets added

I wasn't aware this was possible. This may help out with the tps as well, but I have no idea how that works. It'd be interesting to see Dan or Dylan's opinions on this.

It's definitely possible, if it's in the game than it can be changed.

It will definitely help with both tps and fps!

    Shouldn't be too hard either.

Well, the mob spinning inside indicates that the spawner is being rendered in by the player allowing mobs to spawn from that spawner, if it's not spinning then no mobs will be spawning from that spawner.

Cosmic client m8 u can stop spawner mobs and @Zack thats honestly wrong its just 1 less entity per spawner, they are still rendered correctly even though u disable mobs in spawners.

You would understand what I'm saying if you knew how spawners really worked, this is just an indication that the spawner is being rendered, also it's not 1 entity, it's multiple entities that spawn from the spawner, so there you're wrong. You really don't need to call me
when you don't understand what I'm saying...

Zack particles are the thing that show if a spawner is spawning/ The particles are good enough anyway.

The mob spinning inside is another indication.

Isn't it the particles causing the lag? Like those little flames, well that's what I thought anyways.

The spinning helps indicate if the spawner is active. I'm no expert, but this may be only a client side visual thing, although a server may be able to make the client think the spawner is inactive and thus not display the fps-killing animations/particles.

I doubt this will be implemented any time soon if it were accepted, and may confuse new players thinking their spawners aren't active.

A better solution would be to fix stacked spawners' spawn rates. Encouraging stacking spawners would mean less actual spawner blocks around the place, helping with both player fps and server tps. This is currently already on trello.

    Denied.
